SORAYA GARRE

FRENCH ACTRESS (SAG-AFTRA)

Soraya is a French American actress who shares her life between Los Angeles and the South of France working in film and TV. She spent several years in London and then Los Angeles where she worked as a film/TV actress but also as a TV producer (E!News France) and voice actress. She created an educational web series to teach French through fiction and comedy. She is also a screenwriter and producer. She has recently co-written a short film "Haunted" with acclaimed directed Jon Amiel, which she also produced and starred in. The film is currently doing the festival run (see "News" for details).

Soraya puts her heart in all the projects she chooses to be a part of. She particularly likes characters with a wide emotional range as she loves to explore, surprise and be surprised. She has a preference for non-realistic fictions with a poetic dimension (ref. Wes Anderson, Guillermo del Toro) or for wild comedies such as Albert Dupontel's "Au Revoir Là-Haut" or "Bernie".

She is now developing a new short film project, a satire of social media, which she wrote and will direct and star in. Stay tuned!
